This project is the kind that we love to take part in. The homeowners were re-doing their driveway and decided to expand it and also have it heated during the winter. From the beginning they trusted us and allowed us execute our vision.
We asked for space to lay our piping and install the boiler and they cleared the cold room. We met with the concrete contractor several times and co-ordinated the excavation, the laying of our heated pipes, the pouring of the new concrete, finishing of the concrete, and then our finishing of installing the boiler, pumps and piping.
The homeowners enjoyed it all winter long and were so happy they even called us back to have their above ground pool heated in the backyard. We decided to run the pool water through a heat exchanger that uses their 1400sqft concrete driveway (135 degrees Fahrenheit on a normal summer day) to heat the pool water. Saving them thousands on the cost of a pool heater and installation as well as monthly costs on natural gas.
